How We Work
South Africa’s grant and telecom systems change often — payment dates shift, verification requirements get stricter, and network pricing updates regularly. We review and update our guides when SASSA, MNOs, and other providers announce changes, and we mark our pages with the date they were last checked so you know how current the information is.
Where possible, our guides are based on official sources — SASSA’s own announcements and portals, network provider documentation, and direct testing of the processes we describe (checking application statuses, following USSD menus, using the SASSA WhatsApp bot, and so on) — rather than simply repeating what other sites say.
